Philippa spent over 20 years in the City for a variety of firms managing assets for institutional pension funds. After she left the City she joined World Jewish Relief (WJR) as their Deputy Chief Executive - a role she held for 5 years.
She has been a Trustee of the Jewish Youth Fund since May 2008 serving as its Co-Chair and then as Chair during this time. She continues to sit as an ordinary trustee.
Philippa has recently stepped down as a Trustee of the Association of Jewish Refugees (AJR) where she was a Trustee since 2009 and served on a variety of committees but primarily as Chair of the Self Aid Committee managing their programme of financial support to first- and second-generation refugees. She was also a Trustee of the Javon Charitable Trust for 8 years, B.B. Administration for 7 years, Hammerson House for 2 years. She continues to serve as a Trustee for Ostrich Charitable Trust and The Arbib-Lucas Charity.
