The grant from JYF had a tremendously positive impact on our project, allowing us to take over 70 C&YP with a wide range of disabilities on the trips they both need and deserve. Without this funding we would have been forced to spend lots of time on a campus of limited size with far less varied activities. This would have been so much less beneficial in this short holiday where we wanted C&YP to receive maximum gain. We are so grateful to JYF for enhancing the project for every single child and young person in attendance. Thanks to JYF, C&YP were able to be far more active, engage in many more stimulating activities, and create memories by partaking in activities they never would usually be able to access. This improved the spirits and mental health of C&YP, whilst giving them opportunities to make friends and build relationships in various settings which brought out many different C&YP’s strengths.
